The Details

What: Powering Precision Health will host their European summit, an opportunity to debate and collaborate around crucial issues from neurology, oncology and cardiology to inflammation and infectious disease. The event will examine the role of blood biomarkers in our mission to move from reactive ‘sick care’ to true, proactive, preventative healthcare.

The Powering Precision Health movement represents the intersection of technological capabilities and medical research to move toward preventative healthcare where we can detect disease, long before symptoms occur.

Who: The world’s top innovators, scientists, physicians, medical professionals, patient advocates, government officials, regulators and investors

Where: Hotel Miramar
Pl. Carlos Ibañez, 308038 · Barcelona

When: November 19, 2019

Why: Too many people continue to suffer and die needlessly from diseases ranging from heart disease and cancer to Alzheimer’s and addiction. Our goal is to not simply develop better ways of treating these illnesses, but to detect them at their earliest stages so people can receive treatment when it’s most curable and cost-effective.

This year, the PPH movement will recommit itself to its fundamental principles of moving beyond diagnostics and treatment to bring about genuine change in how we practice and think about health. The summit is based on peer-reviewed research, and the fundamental need to be transparent and collaborative.
